Eating cheap

Yes, I'm poor again, but not in poverty like I was when I didn't have a job. There were days I didn't have much to eat. Saving money is still important, and if eating at lower cost is important to you, I've found a few good starting places.

The Hillbilly Housewife is more commercial than it used to be, but still has some good advice, with low cost meal plans here and here.

WebMD has a very useful page on cheap and healthy foods.  This is a pretty decent post on a blog.

The important thing is to get out of the habit of wasting money buying fast food and overpriced stuff at the supermarket. Have a plan when you go shopping, write down your list and stick to the list.
